December 22, 2010 Dear Friend, Merry ChristmasThe past year has seen SkillsOne secure a unique position in the promotion of Trades and Skills, highlighting the opportunities and diversity within the Vocational Education sector. The support and co-operation we have received from all stakeholders has been generous and encouraging. We have achieved several milestones in 2010; the viewing of the one millionth video on the SkillsOne website was of particular significance. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all those who have supported SkillsOne and its initiatives over the past year. We acknowledge the challenges going forward are many and varied, but, like many of our stakeholders there exists a spirit and determination that together we can make we can make a difference and we will. Congratulations are in order for TAFE NSW, on the launch of their “Imagine” campaign in 2010. SkillsOne worked closely with TAFE to develop a custom, interactive micro-site “Imagine Island”, showcasing the diversity of career training available at TAFE.
