Diet No Morsels |
Dear subscriber, This month we have a really sensational offer. Would you like a free support session with either Chris Brooks (in Melbourne) or myself (in Sydney)? This offer is not on the website – you receive this because you are already a member of Diet No More. For October only we are offering either free email support for 2 weeks or one free half hour phone support session - but Chris and I only have a limited number available. The Free Phone Support: Bookings are essential. Chris Brooks: Friday October 24th between 12 midday - 4pm. Jenny McFadden: Thursday Oct 23rd: between 11am-2pm and between 7.30-9pm. I know that support is really vital and I am looking for a way to make it more accessible and affordable. Maybe you can help me with ideas, while Chris and I help you with your natural eating journey. By the way, you need a landline (not a mobile phone) and you need to be in Australia. We will pay for the phone call too! Karen’s 5 Tips for Success on youtube.Karen has been using the principles of natural eating for over 20 years and has managed her weight successfully for that long. She never diets, weighs herself or restricts what she eats! See Karen and listen to her experiences as she gives you her best 5 tips for natural weight management. You will really enjoy hearing Karen speak. Go to: www.youtube.com/dietnomore In other interviews Karen answers some of your often asked questions. I think it is interesting and informative to hear someone other than me talk about her experiences using natural eating and a non-diet approach to weight and eating management. Effective Eating Principle no. 5In “Listen to what you Body Wants” Jenny talks about the difference between mouth and stomach hunger and how you can tune in to your stomach more effectively and easily… Go to: www.youtube.com/dietnomore Weight Loss MethodsI couldn’t resist sending you this cartoon. I must admit it does shed new light on how to use weight loss tapes. I wondered why they didn’t work for me - I had been using them incorrectly!
Interesting FactsI heard on the radio recently that they classify 1 in 4 Australians as overweight or obese. Expenditure in Australia on weight management has reached the staggering figure of 64 BILLION per year! At the same time more and more people are dieting repeatedly and regaining the weigh they lost. Australian figures show that 92% of young women and 44% of middle aged women have dieted to lose weight at least once. A second study showed that 47% of people had tried to lose weight in the 12 months before the survey; and importantly, of this group of dieters, 45% had tried to lose weight once, 43% between two and five times, and 12% had tried to lose weight six or more times (that was me). People are not ignoring the need to be healthy. Many are dieting VERY hard. And not succeeding. In fact, weight is increasing. If 1/3 to 2/3 of the weight is regained within one year, and almost all is regained within 5 years then they cannot be said to be working! There’s something they need to be asking here – and it isn’t “how can we make dieting more effective?” or “is dieting effective statistically?” They should be asking “Is there an alternative to dieting as a weight management strategy?” Here at Diet No More, we say the answer is a resounding yes! Being able to keep your weight stable regardless of size, focusing on your body and its needs rather than the scales or diet foods, understanding what triggers non-hungry eating for you and how to deal with it plus generally being physically active are all achieveable and natural ways to manage weight and eating. Personal Consultations with JennyI am available for personal consultations at my clinic or by phone to anywhere in Australia. If you are interested give me a call or email me for information. Phone sessions can be any length you like and I will call you at an agreed time. (You need to have a landline.) Personal sessions can be at my clinic in Crows Nest or at my home cottage clinic in Hornsby Heights, Sydney. $115 per hour. |
