Assistant Competitor Team Leader 40th WorldSkills International Competition – Calgary, Canada Dear WorldSkills Supporter, WorldSkills Australia is a dynamic national organisation that has been actively celebrating and promoting the standards and status of vocational training and skills excellence for 27 years. Through a program of competitions, aligned to National Training Packages, WorldSkills Australia works to ensure that today’s young people have the skills and abilities to compete within the rapidly changing global marketplace. Assistant Competitor Team Leader WorldSkills Australia is seeking an Assistant Competitor Team Leader to assist the existing Competitor Team Leaders (x2) in the lead up to and during the 40th WorldSkills Competition being held in Calgary, Canada in September 2009. With a sound knowledge of WorldSkills Australia, a demonstrated commitment to the WorldSkills spirit and values and a passion for working with young adults to help them achieve their best, you will be required to work closely with the Competitor Team Leaders and other members of Team Australia to ensure WorldSkills Australia builds on the success of the 2007 Skillaroos. This is a voluntary role for 2008/2009 and the position will be reviewed following the completion of the 40th WorldSkills International Competition in September 2009.
