Dear WorldSkills Australia Supporter,
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your support of the WSA programs in 2010.
This year has been one of fantastic achievements which included the Australian Scout Jamboree – the World’s Biggest Try’a Trade, the inaugural WSA Youth Forum, the 2010 National Competition – Brisbane and culminating in the formal announcement of the 2011 Team Australia Skillaroos at the Australian Training Awards.
All of these events highlight the enormous contribution that you have provided. Without your support, our programs would not be the success they are.
2011 is shaping up as another busy year with the running of our regional competitions as well the 2011 Team Australia Skillaroos taking on the world in London.
We are aiming for a strong showing in London and it is also our collective challenge to increase participation rates at the regional competition level.
In addition to these two major components of the WSA program, we are also looking to strengthen and broaden our partnerships as well as investigating ways in which we can further develop the WSA brand thus offering more opportunities for our partners. Planning for the 2012 National Competition will also commence early 2011 making for a busy year.
All in all 2011 will be an exciting year for WSA and our partners.
I hope you have a happy, safe and enjoyable Festive Season and I look forward to catching up with you in 2011.
Kind regards
Catherine Huntley
